Ptarmigan Emery, Lead Legal RN Consultant

Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Ptarmigan Emery is a Registered Nurse and Legal Nurse Consultant. She has been in the healthcare industry since 2005 and feels very fortunate to call nursing her passion.

Ptarmigan currently works for a local personal injury attorney as a Legal Nurse Consultant but spent many years working in Oncology, Spinal Cord, and Traumatic Brain Injury at various hospitals in the Denver area including Craig Hospital, Optum Hospice, Compassus, Porter Adventist Hospital, and The Denver Hospice. She was also a Clinical Instructor at the Platt College of Nursing for 5 years. She loves working with people and helping them overcome the most difficult obstacles they have ever faced.

Before she found her calling in nursing, Ptarmigan worked in the finance and real estate industries but realized that those worlds were not her calling. Prior to delving into those professions, she earned her degree in East Asian Studies and Japanese from The George Washington University. She spent two years living in Japan and still speaks fluent Japanese.

When Ptarmigan is not working, she can be found skiing, hiking, four-wheeling, playing soccer, walking with her pup Shiba, or soaking up rays by the pool.
